Blogs I follow and other stuff

Well, I have been trying to catch up on what the people out there are up to. You know the ones I follow, because Google lets me do that, and for what ever reason my dashboard is only showing me one. I can usually read a lot of them, Not Today.
Okay that is all for my ranting, sorry. My lovely daughter was invited to a baby shower this week and she forgot until Sun. afternoon and I thought I would like to show all of you what she decided to do so here is a photo.
Well, as has happened for a while now I can not make this cake stand up in the right direction. I think she did a wonderful job though and just had to share.

I have been working on a couple of bags for a week or so, and today I tried to figure out what I need to do next. It seems that this bag would make a lot of people very happy if they could buy one, but to make it is going to cost me at least 15.00$ or maybe 20$. That means I would have to charge twice that and include more for my time, as it is taking a lot. I wonder if anyone would be willing to pay 50$ or more for a bag to put stuff in??? I will post photos when I finally get them both completed.
I have got to vacuum the living room so I can get the Lizard quilt layered for quilting, and I do not look forward to crawling around to do that. I usually have a great deal of pain for days afterward, I do wish there was a better way. I guess there is, but I have had more problems trying to get the layers on the frame so I do not use it. One day I will get a friend to come help me figure out what I am doing wrong.
I will be at a seminar all weekend and who knows what the next day or two will hold, so if you don't hear from me please have a very quilty week.

Tennye, do you have access to a table tennis table, I have found them great for pinning quilts. Ron picked up one from the hard rubbish that had chips on the surface so no good for playing on but ok for basting the quilt, and it doesn't matter if the pins scratch the surface

I know what you mean about pricing bags to sell. I have only sold 3 since I started selling in June. 2 on Etsy and one to a family member. It is hard to visualize my customer, because I would not pay the amount for a bag that I need to get. Though one I sold was my most expensive bag. I have been lucky that most of my material was given to me. I haven't used the fusible fleece and that may be a deterrent to them selling.
