Not the New Stuff yet

Hi every one, I hope you are having a great summer. Mine has been so busy I have been having a hard time getting on and writing. I went to my aunts for the weekend and we left on Fri. morning and came home on Mon. morning early. Sun. evening I got a call from my daughters that they were with my dad and they had called EMS. He was having symptoms of a heart attack and not doing well at all. The EMS got there and said they didn't think it was, but he was definitely in distress and they wanted to take him to the hospital. So they did. My mother was off at the scrapbook club meeting that I was missing, by being out of town. One of the ladies drove her to the hospital and one of my girls went with him in the ambulance.
It looked like he was going to be fine, but they said since he was scheduled for a cardiogram the next day at that facility they would just keep him and watch him over night. He had the cardiogram and they found a 90% blockage in one of his arteries so they put a stint in right away. He had to stay another night for that. He came home today and is doing very well.
I just don't seem to be able to leave town without something happening. LOL not really, but some times it feels that way.
I got on here to tell you something fun I want to do. I have a cousin who wants to start writing a blog, and she also wants to make a t-shirt quilt with the help of myself and her mom. So I think we may just do a little t-shirt quilt tutorial for the next few days and she can read what I have posted and make the quilt she wants to make. Maybe it will also give her the confidence to start her own blog. I have a good start on my own t-shirt quilt but will need to do some of the work on some of my children's shirts  in order to make photos to post for the early steps. Not that that is a problem since I have enough t-shirts set a side for them to make four or five quilts. I need to get that done. but seem to have so many other things I have going I just put it on the back burner. I guess we will get it done now.
I am making some life changes that I look forward to. I hope you all will notice them when they begin to show. However I am not going to tell you what they are just let them show up in my posts. In the mean time yall have a quilty week and I will see what I can do about getting the first of those directions posted before the end of the week.
